Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


OEM Sales

  • Achieve Sales Targets and Goals
  • Establish strong relationship with key Chinese OEM


Aftermarket Sales

  • Achieve Sales Targets and Goals
  • Grow Blount brand presence country wide
  • Improve competitiveness through ongoing marketing and promotional activities
  • Work on sales channel optimization including distributor performance assessment
  • Help develop an offering dedicated to China market across segments



  • Initially coordinate marketing activities with the support group in Portland-USA and/or with local third party support for ground marketing material design and production.
  • Build Blount’s marketing capabilities in China in coordination with Corporate Marketing. These capabilities may include advertising and communication in a digital or printed format as well as product marketing.



  • Initially lead a team of 4 reports composed of an OEM sales manager and a team of 3 CSR, including one lead.
  • Develop the team’s capabilities overtime to meet the requirements coming from the channel diversification plan and the expected sales growth across channels and segments.


Communication and Documentation

  • Maintain open communication through conversation and both formal and informal documents
  • Timely delivery of appropriate sales and customer management reports




Education: Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on business, marketing, engineering or

management; Master’s or advanced degree helpful but not required


Knowledge & Experience:

· At least five years of relevant sales experience with proven track record of growing sales results.

· Sales experience for a global industrial or manufacturing company of consumer goods.

· Experience in managing multi-channel distribution.

· Sales experience in E-commerce in China.

_ Proficiency in English required

_ Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and data management

software (SAP preferred)


Available to travel up to 50% of the time, domestic and international travel
